Questions for the pie chart:

1.What degree is the angle of “Car Pooling”  to the nearest whole number?

2.What percent of the pie chart is “Turning off lights……when not in use” and “Use of recycled materials”?

3.What percent of the pie chart is “Adapting correct waste segregation”?

4.What is the ratio of “Adapting correct waste segregation” and “Car Pooling” to the whole chart?

5.If every person who answered the survey is 1 cm squared (Ex. Pie chart is flat), then what is the diameter of the whole pie chart? (pi=3.14) Round off to the nearest whole number.

Reflection Questions and Answers

1.Young as you are, will your simple practices to conserve energy be significant for the protection of  the earth? Elaborate.

Ans: Yes because if we keep on conserving energy every day, then we are already saving the earth little by little by our actions. The youth’s actions,if pulled together, will have a great impact for the betterment of the world.

2. Identify other practices that might be helpful in protecting the environment. Explain.

Ans: One is not wasting natural resources like water and trees so that there will still be more in the future. Another one is preventing from using a car when we’re going to a nearby place so that it can lessen the global warming that is happening now in the earth. We should also follow the ordinance that was implemented in Muntinlupa City, the one that says that the whle city is not allowed to use plastic bags because plastic is non-biodegradable and it also clogs our canals and sewage systems  so it causes flood.
